Dear Mrs. David , Al, Ann, John ,and family, I am so sorry for the passing of your husband/ dad /grandfather and all family members and friends ,Mr David was a s great neighbor, so kind and friendly , always loved watching him him trim his bushes, and sweeeping up around the yard but mostly for his nice smile and wave Every time I’d see him , such a great guy. Love and remembrance for Mary and Al David...friends of our family for over 70 years..... One of my favorite memories is being very fussy and not much of a sleeper.. Mom and Mary would be getting the Saturday night meal ready and Dad and Al would throw me in the car seat n take me for a ride!!! It’s the only way i would sleep! God bless you and keep you, Al... you will be terribly missed and so lovingly remembered...

Dear May, Allen, Ann and John and family. Our deepest sympathies in the passing of your beloved husband, dad and grandfather. We have so many very wonderful memories of growing up on Odile St and your family is such a large part of those memories. We will never forget Mr David. He was so quiet and gentle. Thinking of Mr. David brings back many wonderful memories of Boy Scouts, the Order of the Arrow and Camp Onway. I'm thankful for having had the pleasure of knowing him, learning from him and laughing with him. He was one of my dad's best friends and I'm happy to know that they are reunited in Heaven My sympathies to his family.

Truly one of the most memorable and finest gentlemen I had the pleasure of Scouting with. My heart goes out to the family. I will cherish all the more the memories of Camp Onway and working with Al and what seems like some of the finest people I have ever come to know.
My mom, Mary Drouin, before she passed in January had known Mary and Al David for over 70 years. We have shared the good times and the sad times together. They visited mom almost weekly during her 7 year residency at Hannah Dustin. They gave us love and support when she passed.
Our family is standing with the Davids and are sending them love and strength in the days ahead...
Rest in Peace, Al and may God hold you in the palm of his hand. You will be missed.

Mr and Mrs. DAVID WERE SO KIND TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS AND MADE GROWING UP AROUND ODILE AND WARWICK STREET FUN AND MEMORABLE. MR. DAVID WAS ALSO A GREAT ROLE MODEL FOR ALL OF US IN SCOUTING. WE LEARNED A LOT FROM HIM.
