Marion R. (Frederick) Foster, 89, of Pelham, NH, formerly of Clearwater, FL and Salem, NH, passed away on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence on September 14, 1928 to Romeo and Gertrude (Hathaway) Frederick. Marion was educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Saint Anne's High School. She later went onto receiving her L.P.N. at Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing. Marion worked as an L.P.N. at the Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen, MA. and various Doctor's Offices in the area. Marion was a parishioner of Saint Patrick's Church in Pelham, NH. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and served as a Eucharistic Minister for Saint Joseph's Church in Salem, NH. Words could never describe what a remarkable woman Marion was and how deeply she is already missed. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother , sister, grandmother , great-grandmother, and friend to many. Marion was a caring and dedicated nurse for many years in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Florida. She truly loved caring for others, and taking incredible care of her family. Marion enjoyed Sunday afternoons watching many New England sports with her family. She loved to play cards ,Uno, and Scrabble. Marion was always excited to go on adventures with the girls. Some of her adventures included; shopping trips, drives to the beach, and watching her great granddaughter sing. Marion was very skilled at making memorable ornaments that we all will cherish.She was delighted to spend time with her close family. She was the wife of the late E. Rene Foster, married sixty-two years, who passed in 2008 Marion is survived by her Loving daughter Joyce and her husband Dennis with whom she resided in Pelham, NH her son William and his wife Sue Foster of Port Charlotte, FL She is survived by her loving grandchildren Lauren Melia and her husband Sean of Brookline, NH, Lyndsey B. Mazza and her husband Timothy of Haverhill, MA. William Foster, Jr. and his wife Shelly of E. Hampton, Conn. Joseph J. Kenney and his wife Kristin of Concord, NH Brad Foster and his wife Elaine of Manchester, NH James J. Kenney and his wife Karen of Manchester, NH She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Kalina Olivia Melia, Francesca, Alixandria, Seth, Patrick Kenney, also Bryce, Cameron Foster, and Logan, Madyn and Quinn Kenney, Shannon, Nora and other great grandchildren. Marion was happily awaiting the birth of another great grandchild. Her beloved sister Barbara Frederick and her husband Jim Cowell of Peoria, AZ Niece Marion Frederick Vanasse of Great Barrington, MA As well as several other nieces and nephews. Close family friend and cousin Robert Topping of Milford, MA. Mother of the late Ruth (Foster) Lavigne Sister to the late Robert Frederick and his wife Mary Marion's family would like to express their deepest gratitude towards the Medical Staff at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. for their compassion and care shown during her stay with them. Marion's funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Patrick's Church, 12 Main Street, Pelham. New Hampshire.
