Bobby Charles Hill

Bobby Charles Hill, 52, a resident of Bradford, MA., left us on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Bobby was known by several nicknames which included Bobcat, Kletus, Tinman, Uncle Bobby, and Friend, but was especially known as "Dad". Bobby was born on June 6, 1956 in Thomson, GA. He graduated from Thomson High School. He later went on to attend Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill where he studied Criminal Justice. Bobby was Baptized at the age of 20 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Grovetown, GA. He later renewed his Church membership to Calvary Baptist Church in Haverhill. Bobby met his wife Mary in 1976 at the Uniroyal Company in Thomson, GA. They Married on September 3, 1983, the day of their son's 3rd Birthday. Bobby worked at Vicor Corporation for 11 years as an Engineer's Aid until 2006. Bobby loved his family and made it a point to buy his nieces their first bicycle. He called his nieces "My Girls" and his nephews "My Boys". Being around family always brought him joy, especially his granddaughter Tianna and niece Brianna. Bobby enjoyed Fishing and going to the Drag Races with his brother, brother-in-laws, and his father-in-law. Bobby leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 24 years: Mrs. Mary (Wilson) Hill of Bradford, MA. his son: Antwon D. Hill and his girlfriend Megan Chandonnett as well as his granddaughter: Tianna Hill of Haverhill, MA. The son of the late John Henry Hill, he is also survived by his mother Mrs. Maxsenia Butler as well as his brothers and sisters: Mary L. Hill, Ralph E. Hill and his wife Lillie, Brenda Brown and her husband Wilson, and Francine Hill-McCladdie and her husband Willie all of Georgia. He is also survived by his brother Larry Hill and his wife Bobbie-Jean of Haverhill, MA. Bobby also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 13 Ashland St., Haverhill, MA. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Church. Words will be offered by Bobby's son Antwon. Burial will take place at the Linwood Cemetery, also in Haverhill.
