I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I was a classmate of Paul's in 1969-1971 while attending the Art Institute of Boston. Paul and I were in the illustration department and were good friends. We often did things together outside of class and traveled to my hometown and to his hometown of Newburyport. I always laughed and had a good time in his company. Though time took us in different directions and to different careers, I always remember Paul and a great friend and I am sad to hear this news of his passing. Dennis Paiva

my condolences to the family of paul. just found out threw the granite state bowhunters of his passing. I have shot 3d archery with paul many times and he was a great guy. any time you were in his company he would make you laugh. He would always be the first person to offer help to anyone that had questions about getting into archery. paul made a lasting impression and will be missed out on the course.

I'm truly sad to learn of Paul's passing. Having spent much time with Paul's parents in our neighborhood, Paul was like an older brother to me. I looked up to him and admired greatly. I can remember him with Officer Carl and the NPD, watching him pull up on his Harley with the smallest skullcap helmet I ever saw, and of course the "Snake Pit" van. One of the best Christmas memories of my childhood was the one when Paul gave my brother Michael and I regulation (no badge) NPD covers. Paul Nakis was my hero and I will miss him. I'm sorry we lost touch, rest in peace my brother.

Very saddened by the news of Paul's passing today. I will miss his insight,warmth and understandings of life's curve balls. We had many a fun times working the grills, some construction works and especially our journeys to hell and back. May his family feel relief in his resting peacefully with his forefathers and surrounded by God's love. I will miss you.
